Plan Your Destination
Read this page carefully
This is the most important step in the journey. If you don't know where you are going, you will more than likely end up somewhere you don't want to be.
Since all roads lead to Rome, this will be our first destination.
As we enter, the first road sign we come across is Romans 3:10, and it says "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one:"
Wait a minute! What did that say? Did that just say that there is not a single righteous person? Why, yes it did. Let‘s continue heading down the road to Rome.
Not too far away is the next road sign reading: ”For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" at Romans 3:23.
This says we are all sinners. It sounds a lot like the first sign. Maybe we‘re going in circles. WE MUST BE LOST!
I am sure someone out there is saying "I don't need any directions, We lived a good life", (probably a guy), if this is what you feel, then refer to Isaiah 64:6, and you will see what God thinks of our good deeds. "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf: and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
Now that we know that we are lost, what will happen? Is there an answer?
Wait a minute! Only three blocks down is another road sign. Let's see what it says. "For the wages of sin is death;" . . . Oh no! That‘s terrible! There is no hope.
But what's this? There's more . . and it says . . . "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23.
Well, how do we get this free gift of eternal life? I hope we can find another road sign that will tell us . . . I think I see one way far away . . . But, it’s too dark to read it, let’s get closer . . . Well, here we are at the cross in the road and the sign is very low, we will have to kneel to read it . . . I still can't read the sign, it's covered with some red substance. We will have to wipe it off to be able to read it. OH MY! It was covered in blood, it‘s all over us now. But, we can read the sign. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13.
WE HAVE FOUND THE WAY!
I have added some humor and made a story out of the plan of salvation to try and keep you interested enough to keep reading. Apparently, it has worked.
On a more serious note, Christ died for our sins, to give us eternal life and people constantly reject Him. This is no laughing matter. From the verses you have just read. you can see that everyone is a sinner and because of being sinners, our punishment is that we must die. But, if you can realize that the only way to receive eternal life, is through accepting Jesus Christ as Saviour, then you need to do it now, while the moment is here.
You cannot receive eternal life by doing good deeds or attending church, nor is there any other way. Jesus said "I am the way. the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:26. I implore you to repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Christ today. If you cannot understand or accept this fact. then there is no sense in continuing through this website.(with the exception of WARNING page) but, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. We will gladly try to help you find the truth and turn to Christ as Saviour. We pray that the Lord God may open your eyes to spiritual truth and you will come to know Him as your personal Saviour.
